Garine` Karen Minnetian is an accomplished business and estate planning lawyer with experience in the areas of corporate finance, securities, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, intellectual property protection and licensing, contracts, and estate planning. Garine` represents start-up and seasoned companies in complex debt and equity financing, securities law compliance, venture capital, corporate governance, contract negotiation and drafting, and general corporate matters. 

Upon graduating from Southwestern University School of Law in 2002, Garine` joined Hayford & Felchlin, a Los Angeles based law firm specializing in workers’ compensation defense. Thereafter, Garine’s work experience, prior to forming Minnetian & Vakian Law Group, was as In-House Counsel for various publicly-traded companies, securities firms, and asset management companies as well as corporate associate at Bullivant Houser Bailey, a West Coast law firm. In addition to her corporate expertise, Garine` gained experience in drafting trusts, wills and related estate planning documents.

Garine` received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California and her law degree from Southwestern University School of Law.

Garine’s experience as In-House Counsel and as an Associate in mid-sized law firms enables her to provide sound business advice and legal assistance in corporate transactions, intellectual property, estate planning, and other legal matters. 

Ani Vakian is a skilled transactional and estate planning attorney practicing law since 2002. Upon graduating from the University of Southern California, she joined Smiland & Khachigian, a Los Angeles law firm, handling both litigation and corporate matters. Ani has worked on a wide variety of cases and practice areas, including water and natural resources law, contracts, property disputes and estate planning. She had the privilege of working on a brief before the United States Supreme Court.

Prior to forming Minnetian & Vakian Law Group, Ani worked as In-House Counsel at various investment and insurance companies, gaining further experience in corporate practice, handling business formations, dissolutions, mergers and other general corporate matters. She also developed extensive practice in drafting trusts for life insurance and general estate planning. 

Ani obtained her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of California Los Angeles and her law degree from the University of Southern California.

Ani’s litigation background, coupled with her in-house experience, gives her a distinct perspective on handling corporate matters, real estate transactions, estate planning, and general business and personal legal issues.
